Black Acid Co Op

James Kalm has been watching the progress of this extensive installation for weeks. Black Acid Co-Op is the collaboration of Justin Lowe and Jonah Freeman, and this piece explores the dark manic recesses of meth-lab culture and its analogues relationship to middle America, and the glamorous New York art world. Entering through the basement, visitors ascend through a labyrinth of burned out trailers meth-labs and art galleries in a journey through an hellatious environment of cultural debris

"a nos amours" @ Moksha Seattle photos

Friday July 17 Alyssa and I went up to Seattle to hang "a nos amours" at Moksha.
We had a lot of fun!

This is one of my favorite shots from Rita in the show.

Something to look at while chatting. The black and white shots are mine.

Some shots post set-up.

Alyssa's in like every photo I guess...

We had a blast! If you're in Seattle go check the show out for the next 30 days.

Reflected exhibit on Entropic Group

.

The Entopic Group is an online space to showcase the work of young artists in the fine arts field.

In this new exhibition we present the work of artists that deal with portrait, a specific genre that exists since the beginning of photography. From the most spontaneous to the most simulated photography, all of them show the universe not only of who is portrayed, but mainly of the artist that use the photography to portray himself. It’s easy to see that this new kind of contemporary portraiture shows most of the times a serious view, althought uncompromised, of everyday situations.
