Here is the english translation:

What excites you about the subject of the nude?

The nude is a subject explored in art since the very beginning. The female figure holds our attention and our imagination like no other subject. There is a certain mystery to the nude, and a story to her body. When I look at a nude I'm not generally excited sexually, although that is possible, I am more meditative. When I shoot nudes it is to offer a more complete portrait of the subject. The viewer can see the whole person, without the facade of clothing. I also use nudity to symbolize youth, vitality, and the intimacy between myself and my subjects.

How far would you go? Are there taboos? I feel like there isn't any taboos, and I have pushed the envelope certainly. In the end it comes down to how you want your work to be portrayed. I don't want to show my subjects as vulgar or objectified. There are times when I've taken photos that end up being too "pornish". It's really easy to take porn pictures, it's more difficult to take serious photos that are also sensual without crossing that line. It can be hard to edit your work, but I try and be tasteful with my imagery and more thoughtful than shooting straight sex.

When is a nude picture a work of art? I feel like that's a personal question. I can see art in some porn, where others would scoff. Other people see art in paintings or photographs, nude or not, that I think are just garbage. But ultimately for me a nude becomes art when it is a thoughtful photograph that captures real emotion.

Do you have some inspirering examples/photographers/artists? The contemporary photographers that continue to make inspiring work are Wolfgang Tillmans, Juergen Teller, Ryan McGinley, Tim Barber, Terry Richardson, Ariane Geffard and all my friends.

With which other subjects you art is dealing as well? My photos are mostly auto-biographical. I take photos of the people and places in my life, some events are more hyperbolic than others.

Which kind of project would you like to realize? Right now I am working on a few projects with Pogo Books a new art book operation out of Berlin. First up is a zine with Ariane Geffard that is based off an art exhibition we have shown in the U.S. It's titled "A Nos Amours" or To Our Loves. I am also working with Pogo Books on a book made entirely of my original photography. I also am working on the third issue of my zine called No Thoughts, which is a collection of many different photographers from around the world showcasing "the erotica of the everyday."
